J.E.M. van den Helder (Jantine)
PromovendusJantine van den Helder is bewegingswetenschapper en als onderzoeker verbonden aan het lectoraat Voeding en Beweging. Jantine was coördinerend onderzoeker van VITAMINE; een project over digitaal ondersteund thuistrainen en een eiwitrijk voedingspatroon, met de inzet van e-health en e-coaching. Momenteel werkt ze als onderzoeker op TEAMS; een project over optimale trainingsbelasting van kwetsbare ouderen met (sub)optimale voedingsstatus. Hierin werken onderzoekers, docenten en studenten van verschillende opleidingen en lectoraten samen met (praktijk)partners aan het ontwikkelen en uitvoeren van deze interventies. Het raakvlak van bewegen en voeding is haar passie.
Als onderzoeker begeleidt Jantine o.a. studenten Voeding en Diëtetiek, Oefentherapie en Fysiotherapie bij hun afstuderen of stage. Hierbij heeft zij de missie om academische vaardigheden en onderzoeksmethoden voor studenten toepasbaar te maken. Studenten worden begeleid in de uitvoering van praktijkgericht wetenschappelijk onderzoek, waarbij multidisciplinair samenwerken en de inzet van digitale middelen belangrijk zijn. Jantine's expertise ligt op het gebied van het opzetten en uitvoeren van klinische mensgebondenstudies, waarbij zij veel ervaring heeft met regels en wetgeving rond mensgebondenonderzoek en datamanagement.
Jantine werkte voorheen in verschillende functies binnen het UMC Utrecht en het Amsterdam UMC, locatie VU. Ze behaalde tijdens haar studie de hbo-Docentenopleiding en werkt al jaren als groepsfitness- en yogainstructeur.
