Dr M.G. Keijer (Micha)

Micha Keijer joined the Amsterdam School of International Business in 2006. Where he is Head of the Finance Department and currently teaches Behavioral and Susutainable Finance and supervises/assesses theses.
Besides teaching at AMSIB, Dr. Keijer has ‘exported’ a Current Issues in Finance course to China. At the Southwestern University for Finance and Economics he teaches a compressed version of the AUAS finance courses.
His teaching at AMSIB has not been without merit, in 2013 he was the runner up for the ‘best lecturer of the year’ award, while in 2014 Dr. Keijer was awarded as ‘best lecturer’ at the Faculty of Business and Economics. At VU University, he was also awarded as ‘best lecturer’ at the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Before joining the Amsterdam School of International Business, Dr.Keijer worked as a senior policy advisor at Dutch Central Bank (De Nederlandsche Bank). Prior to his academic career he also worked at Ernst&Young and MeesPieson.
