Docent-onderzoekerAnne den Uil is promovenda bij het lectoraat Bewegen In en Om School en onderzoeksdocent bij de Academie voor Lichamelijke Opvoeding (ALO). In 2014 rondde zij de studie Bewegingswetenschappen af aan de VU Amsterdam.
Als promovenda onderzoekt Anne factoren die samenhangen met de motorische vaardigheden van basisschoolleerlingen tussen de 4 en 12 jaar (project Wat bewegen beweegt). Ook brengt zij de effecten van de coronalockdowns op de motorische ontwikkeling van kinderen in kaart. Eerder onderzocht Anne de effectiviteit van bestaande beweeginterventies op kinderen met een motorische achterstand (project VAMOS) en werkte zij mee aan de projecten MAMBO/Gymmermansoog en SALVO.
