Corine Latour behaalde in 1989 haar diploma hbo-Verpleegkunde. Hierna werkte ze in verschillende psychiatrische instellingen in Amsterdam. Na het afronden van de Voortgezette Opleiding Verpleegkundig Specialist GGZ, ging ze in 1991 aan het werk bij de Psychiatrische Consultatieve Dienst van het VU Medisch Centrum. Ze volgde in die periode de opleiding Evidence Based Practice aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam.

Corine promoveerde in 2006 bij Wim Stalman, hoogleraar Huisartsgeneeskunde aan de Vrije Universiteit, op het onderwerp ‘Coordination of Care for the Complex Medically Ill’. Kort na haar promotie ging zij aan de slag als docent Verpleegkunde bij de Hogeschool van Amsterdam. Zij bekleedde daar verschillende functies en combineert sinds 2015 de functie van opleidingsmanager HBO-Verpleegkunde met die van kernlector Geintegreerde Complexe Zorg.

Corine is voorzitter van de landelijke Anna Reynvaan Studentenprijs en bestuurslid van het Landelijk Overleg Onderwijs Verpleegkunde (LOOV). Ze is lid van het INTERMED-consortium en actief in de Case Management Society of America (CMSA).
